It is jsut a myth, nut it can appear as though they are growing, basically, after death your flesh dries out and shrinks, so, your finger nail is still the same length, just the finger it was on has gotten smaller.

this might properly be a rumor that has lasted greater effective than a century. The nails and hair do no longer strengthen after a guy or woman has died. extremely, the floor tightens up, pulling heavily against a guy or woman's corpse, making subsequently seem as though the hair, nails, or perhaps chest has grown. the floor tightens up from the end results of embalming, that's the place maximum blood, yet no longer all is extracted from the physique and a preservative is located into the physique. This chemical commonplace as formaldehyde is used to maintain all actual gases, organs, and different platforms of the internal human gadget perserved in easy terms somewhat longer, a great style of the time between 3 to 5 months.

No. The body shrinks slightly after death giving the appearance of growth from the nails and possibly the hair too. I may be wrong but I guess i am right!

They do not.
After a person dies, their skin dries and retracts. This makes the hair and nails APPEAR to be continuing to grow but they are not.

How many skeltons have you seen with long hair and fingernails?
Once the body stops working, it stops working. The only thing that stays alive and continues to eat you up is a cancerous tumour unfortunately.
