I spend 5 years organising Shore Excursions for cruise lines in the Caribbean and I can easily say that Virgin Gorda can make that claim.
It was private until 1964 and it pure, untouched beauty.

Dominica...not to be mistaken with the Dominican Republic.
We are the most beautiful island in the Caribbean, just be prepared to experience the Nature Island of Dominica.

No island even comes close to St. Barth's. It is like haveing the French Rivera in the caribbean. The restaurants, beachs, shops, and even the people are all so chic and beautiful!!!
