midland made a very good CB a few years ago when i was a breaker-and i beleive they are still making them (though it is 17 years since i was last on the airwaves). though not the same as a two way radio citizens band radio's carry more or less the same technology and so while midland cannot be considered the best they were reliable.

No, Motorola and Maxon are the best. Vertex might be runner up. I used to work in a warehouse that was 560,000 square feet, and we needed radios that had a good range and reception. These are the best, but your needs might not be the same.

it really depends on what you needs are.I`ve found motorola to be better than most out there.
