I have a friend at work that i have come to like more than just a friend recently (well im not even 100% sure, i just can't stop thinking about him) but i don't think he likes me in that way. Also he has liked one of my other friends for quite a long time now (she has a bf though) but he says he's getting over her. This is the first guy i'v actually liked more than a brief crush and i'v never had a bf, so i'm pretty much in the dark about what to do. So far i'v decided to get to know him beter and maybe i'll stop liking him. Is this the right thing to do or should i tell him how i feel? I don't really want him to freak out or anything. If anyone has some tips please help.

I think you're playing it right and playing it safe. Nobody has the perfect answer. Sometimes you have to just let things unfold and enjoy him as a friend (even if you feel more) and see what happens. Friends is the first and best place to start in ANY relationship. This is sometimes how the best marriages are made believe it or not.

I have a cousin who had a boyfriend and had many friends. One of these friends was a guy. He always liked her and just basically stayed a friend to her and he was too shy to say anything about how he felt. It hink he just shrugged and thought "oh well" as she went from one boyfriend and then to another. As time wore on, who lasted? He did and she ended up with him and finally they got married!

So you see, people are always in an all fire rush to get the other stuff going and they do not realise that friendship is where it begins. Attraction is great, but even better if people end up getting past that and becoming friends as well. You got the other way round happening! It's just as good, go with the flow and don't worry and just test the waters and see how things unfold.

Everyone goes through stages and curiousity. you could be gay, but maybe not. how old are you? age plays a factor in many ways people should give answers. if yoour real young, maybe you should stay away til you are old enough to make decisions on your sexual preference. i tell you, everyone thinks about the opposite sex and the same sex at one time in thier life. its natural and normal don't let anyone tell you differetnly.

Just hang out and start doing more things with him.
If the chemistry is there, things will develop.
And a relationship will bloom.

its never easy liking a friend, this type of things usually happen when you spent alot of time together..but if you really like him go for it. regret is worse than rejection.
