a bit of advice.buy the best you can afford if it is to be used a lot, because cheap ones are not going to last till easter.if it is a table for a young person then try to get a sturdy one.they have a good selection in jjb sports at all different prices.argos have a good range too, some even have other games built into them..

$400 is extremely cheap for a pool table, and it's going to suck really bad. Cheap tables don't have real slate and will play like a toy, not a pool table. It will not stay level, the rails will not bounce correctly, and it will all around be built cheaply. Save up at least $1,000, and even then, you're looking in the used market only. Remember, look for a table with a SLATE bed, or don't bother (unless you just want a cheap toy table, in which case, get whatever you want).

Probably Ebay would be your best bet. www.ebay.co.uk for the uk and www.ebay.com for usa etc.
Good luck :o)
