hey did you see American Pie 2 ? the rule of 3 If a girl claims she's slept with 0- she's actually slept with 3. If a guy claims he's slept with 3 he's actually slept with 0. Sorry to bring that up but no matter how funny its sounds its kinda true. Anyway not to worry don't feel bad its not that many..

Okay i'm not sure you what answer you are looking for - but asking how many you should have slept with 'by now' only tells me that you are adding up notches....there is not a target to reach by a certain age....
If you dont want to settle down then thats a different story but if you do then you should not be looking for a growing number of partners at different milestones - you should be trying to find that special someone who you may want to share your life with and stop there

NINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are a total slag, hoare, slapper, trollop - oh sorry you're a guy I didn't see, thought you were a woman. In that case - 9 is really low - you should be averaging 3 every three months!!!
In all seriousness - even for a guy you are a bit of a wh*re - 9 is a LOT!!!!!!!! Don't you respect yourself?
Edit - just to let you know that this question has been posed by a woman and she was called wh*re and such like - its still a man's world

Theres no real answer to this - but a safe estimate for a 28 year old might be - less than 5 - kinda inexperienced - more than 60- cassanova!
Having said that its not usually such a good idea to discuss numbers with your present partner as no matter what figure you have slept with it will ALWAYS cause grief!! xx

It's different for everyone. There isn't a 'should' in all this. 9 is quite a few, but it can happen if your relationships don't last all that long. More importantly, examine your conscience and ask yourself how many were one-night stands or vengence or drunken decisions. Those are the ones to regret, not the number itself.

if you only slept with one different girl once a month, thats 12 in a year, and in 10 years thats 120. if you've had a 2 week holiday with a bunch of guys, for example tenerife, and you sleep with a different girl every night, then you can double that figure. don't feel bad about it, because you told her the truth and believed her.she could be lying. you could be a lot worse, she either accepts it or moves on. stand your ground be a man.

there's a saying - when a man tells you how many women he's slept with, divide it by 3. When a woman tells you how many men she's slept with, multiply it by 3
9 is not alot in the grand scheme of things, not at the age of 28, that equates to less than one a year. but it doesnt matter anyway, as long as you're clean of STDs and mini me's!! If someone's been in serious relationships, they're (hopefully) going to have slept with alot less, but I would imagine your average 28 year old has slept with more
who really cares, it makes no difference anyway. you dont get better at sex by sleeping with alot of people, you get better at it by sleeping with one person you trust who can teach you things and experiment with you. dont worry about it

The fact that you are thinking about this means you might want a change. You can't reduce the number but you can maybe keep the number in check. A "one woman's man" is a good way to start. And see how long you can keep it that way.
Good luck!

there's no right or wrong answer, it's really a matter of preference a person has. does your partner want you to be more or less experienced than her? is she afraid of catching something? i think that's what she really wants to know.
your number is your number. don't feel bad if you've slept with thousands or if you've havent slept with any. just be honest.
also, that question always sucks. it's a wicked trick that yileds the wrong results.

Don't feel bad about having sex. This is natural.
It doesn't matter how many people you slept with, but always use safe sex.
There's no shame in experience.
Nine is nothing.
