I'm decorating my daughters bedroom and want to paint the bottom half one colour, but rather than having a straight line around the middle, I'd like a wavy line. I can't find any stencils in the shops. How else can i do it???????

You could get a piece of thick card and draw out part of the wavy line you would like, then cut this out and use it as a stencil. You will need to pencil and straight line round the walls first, so you know you are using the stencil straight, and when you make the stencil you will need to make sure that the edge on the left and the edge on the right are at the same height so when you move it along the sides will still match up. Hope this helps!

Hi there! I would pencil in a straight line roughly where i want it then cut out a big half circle in card. Line it with your straight line with the circle piece at the top..next at the bottom and so on right round...once painted you ll have a lovely wavy line. ;o)

Paint won't be certain this issue, nor will putting tape in a striaght line..you're able to have the line down on the wall some..you won't be able to make a striaght line out of a crooked ceiling..

I would cut the shape you want through a newspaper, then attach the separate sheets to your wall and paint over them.

First - take your straight edge, and then put it to one side.
Put some paint on a brush and go for it...
