Hi, I was walking barefoot (stupid I know) in my backyard, and that night, I discovered that I had a tiny black rose-like thorn in my foot, just below my big toe and is so painful.

I'm a whimp, so i'd like to know any ways of removing it without tweezers.

Thanks :)

If you have long fingernails you can pick it out that way. There's nothing wrong or stupid about walking barefoot btw, I've walked barefoot everywhere for ten years (including in the rough, in the city, last year I removed a huge bramble bush) and I only have to remove a splinter two or three times a year! Just bad luck you happened to get a thorn. I usually use tweezers or a needle, it's no big deal really, it'll feel better when you just sit down and do it anyways even if you may feel a bit whimpy about it. If you can't get it, try after taking a shower or soak just your foot for a bit before.

at the same time as good high quality, skinny tweezers are the suitable for finding out to purchase splinters out, the only element i will think of of that must be between the "least painful" approaches may be to apply a small stitching needle. Use the needle to interrupt the exterior around the place splinter has entered. This makes it greater handy to pull the splinter out without inflicting too lots discomfort. no depend the way you get a splinter out, in case you're quite fearful of the discomfort you may consistently numb the section somewhat via using some ice to it for a jiffy in the past you attempt to do away with the splinter. wish this facilitates : )

Hi,
Neosporen helps the pain and tends to draw the splinter out.( It will also help after splinter removed)but the best is to have someone with sterile needle just prick the outer skin where it went in and give it a way out(which is not painful). If you can see the entire splinter under that layer of skin prick all that top layer and it will come right out. If it is deeper give it a way out, gently push the skin around it and that little bug gar will pop its end out and you can grab it with tweezers or your nails. If you are really a big wimp soak warm water with Epsom Salt-that, also has a good drawing effect and will feel good, then it will come out easier. Good Luck!

Measuring the penis when it isn't erect is pointless, since the length and bulk are affected by various temporary factors, such as the ambient temperature. Even the largest male organ can shrink to virtually nothing if the man goes for a swim in cold water. However, at normal temperatures a non-erect p enis usually measures between 8.5 cm and 10.5 cm (3-4 inches) from tip to base.

The average figure is about 9.5 cm (3.75 inches). Of course, it's true that some men have big penises and some have smaller ones, just as some men have small feet and some have big feet, but the measurement is not – repeat not – an index of virility.

use the corner of a fingernail clippers that has a good feel to it. you must be very careful not to clip through the splinter. this isn't any less painless, it's just more powerful. as long as you don't clip through the splinter.

if you **** it up, get a needle and start digging. that is, assuming you have no luck clipping the skin back to expose the thorn.

Sticking a plaster over it is the best way - it softens the skin which will make it easier to work its way out - as the skin goes wrinkly (like when you soak too long in the bath) it ends up pushing the thorn nearer the surface, so you should then be able to scrape across the skin with a fingernail and drag it out.

Applly a plaster and the thorn will rise to the surface after a day or so then you just give it a gently squeeze and it should pop out. If not then you will have to dig it out with a needle and tweezers.

Trust me the tweezers is the best way to get it out and it doesn't hurt! Ask someone you trust to get it out for you, I had a splinter in my hand once and i was aslo scared of tweezers. But my dad did it for me and it didn't hurt at all! Good luck!

If it isnt real large and to deep, you can try putting some glue, such as Elmers on it, let it completely dry, then peel it off. Sometimes it will lift the object out.
