Intelligent women are remarkably uncommon. Not unheard of, but not seen on a regular basis either.
It isn't essential, but would be considered a plus.
A conversation with even an intelligent woman is still just the intellectual equivalent of chewing gum.

No necessarily with high IQ..... what is important you can go along with her. Intelligent girls not oftentimes intimidate a guy like me because everybody has its own character, talents and etc.... they may be intelligent but not smart

Intelligence is by far the most important attribute for me. I love to be challenged intellecutally, and love smart women who are quick-witted (i.e., Tina Fey's character on 30 Rock). Hi IQs don't intimidate me -- they exhilarate me.

it doesn't matter to me. if i can hold a conversation with her, thats whats really important. i dated this airhead with the incredible body, but it didn't last a month. she got annoying and i just didn't want to talk about how wasted we got or her shoes anymore.
i'd prefer an intelligent girl as a matter of fact, just as long as she wasn't haughtily self-righteous or anything.
(by the way, IQ isn't indicative of intelligence. it's a measure of how quickly you can solve logical problems and identify relationships)

I like a smart girl, it's a win-win. I can have intelligent conversations with her, or, if she is smarter than I am, I might just learn something.

I prefer a woman of intelligence who is secure in herself.Being intellectually stimulated is almost as important as physically ,and at times more gratifying!!!

i dont mind if she has a high IQ as long as she doesnt talk to me in sentences with each word longer than 7 letters. lol
