Allah/God is merciful meaning God is forgiving.

There is a verse in the Quran that means: "If God punishes every sinner immediately, there will no none left on earth". God gives us time to repent. Do you have an idea how patient He is with all the horrid things some of us do? Isn't that a part of mercy, or what is?
