How do you know if it's special?

I am dating a guy who has always been in serious relationships. I am emotionally retarded and have never really fallen for someone before, let alone have a long timer. But because my feelings are so strong I wonder if he has felt like this with every girl he has been in a relationship with in the past? Or can you fancy people in different ways?

I know it's special for me....but he's the one that has had serious relationshipsn (even lived with one) So how do I know if it's special for him...

Hi sweet, i have been in the same situation, i believe that when you really feel something for someone you should follow those feelings, not all the time you have these feelings. And if its not the right outcome in the end, then you have felt something that feels so great and experienced, which is part of life.

This isn't something that can easily be described! It's something you just know in your gut. Are their any red flags (any really irritating habits or qualities that bother you?) You don't say how long you've been dating for, but if things are going well, you just have to give it time. A new relationship is often fabulous at first then fades. What do your friends and family think of him and how the two of you are together? Sometimes their perspective can help. Only you can decide if he is right or not, but don't ignore those red flags (if they are there, you'll know what I mean).

You're just experiencing initial infatuation. His emotions are probably rubbing off on you as well. These kinds of things usually soar really high really quickly and then crash and burn in a spectacular blaze.

My feeling is that he is still immature and not very stable. Take it at your own pace and let things happen. He probably feels different for every girl he has been with because different girls react differently to strong emotions. Remember, you can have strong feelings, but you also have to be considerate of the other person's feelings as well because they are probably not exactly the same as your feelings toward them.

well u got two choices actually the first one is talk to him unless you think is to early to do that u may scare him away.

the second is just ignore it and simply enjoy what you have together.

Hm... any of those things are completely possible lol.

I guess the best thing to do would be to listen to your "heart". If things are moving too fast or whatever (sort of seemed that way), talk it over with him. In fact, you might wanna talk it over either way, just let him know you're being overwhelmed with the feelings... or whatever it is you're feeling.
