Here is a list of 'what I experience' when I have my attacks:
Excessively long lasting dizzy spells
Tunnel vision
Sweating
SPEEDING heart rate
cold clammy hands and skin
sometimes I black out and pass out
bc' my heartrate was too high
Bc' the body is overcompensating for oxygen needed for the over worked heart, brain, and lungs......hands and feet will start to lose oxygen, and start to look blue and curl up.
A general over ALL notion that YOU ARE GOING TO DIE VERY VERY, VERY SOON,
My dc ended up putting me on XANAX in which I take it only at the ONSET of a coming attack. BE very careful with this drug, as it is EASILY ADDICTIVE and your need for higher dosages changes Very quickly. My anxieties worsened and I ended up taking up to 3x's a day and in a higher dose. I was 27 when I had my first REAL panic attack, im only a yr. older now, but they have been coming more and more frequently. ITs the scariest feeling ever, you have to breath extremely slow and "TELL YOURSELF that this is only an attack and that it will be over soon. Dont play into the thoughts that u are dying.
GOD ONLY, could know why these happen, idk. I lived many many years with exrememly complex difficulties related to marriage, family, finances and stable housing. I went 8 yrs before I basically "crashed and burned" from not resting from the stress.
Good luck, you will be alright- just see a doctor, preferably a neurologist, they seem more helpful to me.

Panic attacks can cause dizzyness, nausea, headaches, and plenty more besides.
I guarantee you have an underlying anxiety disorder (extreme anxiety leads to panic attacks), so you need to get yourself a referral to a good psychologist to help you find out what's behind it all.
I'm being treated for the same thing at the moment, with great success.
Understanding what they are, what causes them, and how to deal with them is a huge step towards recovery.
If you go to a website called www.panicattacks.com.au, there are two books there I recommend you read. They're available in hard copy or as eBooks. They're called Power Over Panic, and Working Through Panic. They are fantastic books.

i had the WORST panic attacks ab 2 years ago and they can last from a few min of feeling like the sky is closing in and you cant breathe, to days of just feeling sick. If you think youre having them go to the doctor and get some anxiety medicine. Also i know this is weired but breathing into a paper bag helps (a lot) hope you dont have them though..

I have read some litterature about panic attacks. But they allways seem to have a more scientific approach and that is nothing I need in my struggle to survive those horrible panic attacks. This is a "hand on" and very practical book. I felt it was written to me. I am sure that you are going to feel the same.
Joe Barry writes exactly how I think. The examples are perfectly described. And the method is genius. I recommend this book and thanks Joe Barry for writing it. It changes your life

Absolutely!! In fact when I was young I had panic attacks where I would hyperventilate. My doctor actually said that it was a precursor to the migraine. Somehow my body was detecting the onset of the migraine and would trigger a panic attack. He called it a-typical migraines. Anyway, I've learned to control and ultimatley prevent the anxiety attacks but not the migraines!!

i had panic attacks before and it can cause the symtoms you mentioned at different degrees.
a few days?
possibly can as long as you are conscious, you will know you are having a pacnic attack.
quickly go to see a physciatrist and ask for medication.
panic attacks are very suffering if you are half-conscious.

Yes, but, they don't normally last for that long. Usually it's just a few minutes. If you're having those symptoms for a long time, go to the doc. Good luck!
