I've noticed this happens frequently. It hasn't happened to me in a long time, but it used to. Are you really annoyed or just trying to be a diva?

I always thought my rugged good looks worked as an intimidator. I just assumed that's why they were annoyed.

There are a number of reasons this could be, but if someone is actually acting "annoyed", I'd be inclined to say they just aren't interested. Some women might be interested but play "hard to get", (perhaps following "The Rules") but I wouldn't think someone would act annoyed if this were the case. A "Rules" girl might try to give you the impression that she is really busy, but wouldn't be rude about it.
At this time of year, we can be really stressed out with all the obligations the holidays can bring. Sometimes it seems that you'll never get everything done in time and one more invitation can be too much to handle. If you've asked someone out the week before Christmas and they acted annoyed, I'd wait until the lull between Christmas and New Years to give them a call and ask them for coffee.

Because they are insecure about themselves, they are annoyed when getting asked out coz they assume something bad to happen

does she get asked out a lot? i mean, is she hot or popular? if she gets asked out a lot then your just another guy asking her out and she's thinking 'again.' if she is not any of those things, either she doesn't like you or she wants to be a diva.
