Identity Theft? Help please?

My girlfriend put our phone in her mom's name as she had access to her social number. The bill was never paid and her parents found out. Obviously they are mad. But her dad is trying to pin it on me. I didn't do it. It was her. My girlfriend keeps lying to her parents saying she knows nothing about it. Do I have anything to worry about or is it her that should worry??

Is a police report being filed for identity theft? If so, you would both be listed as suspects, but when the police investigate it, they will find out that she did it.
