Or What if there are more planets out there and other life forms would we as human beings ever know that for sure? Could we find the end of the universe and number all the other planets let alone the stars? could we build anything to go as far as, infinitely and even be alive to come back, let alone tell it?
It will do nothing to the Bible, and Christians will believe because it shows them how great god really is:
Everything was made by him, for without him was not anything made, that was made.
whether we believe it or not, to comprehend him is not something any man can do.

This conception that finding life on other planets will shatter Christianity is so bizarre. Most sci-fi writers are Christian oddly enough.
Hebrews 1:1-2 "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;"
Life will not be discovered on Mars, but belief in God is belief in extraterrestrial life, seeing as God could not both create and be from this world. In fact, I believe there are other beings on other worlds, and it is only my faith in Christ that allows me to believe that. I believe God would not have created such a large universe to be empty. If our creation was just a chance circumstance, the odds are too powerfully against our ever discovering another life out there.
I rather think that discovering extraterrestrial life would prove the existence of God.

Such a discovery will do nothing to the Bible, and Christians will have no issue with it.
This may surprise you, but VERY few people came to a relationship with Jesus Christ based on the idea that there is no life on other planets. In fact, the subject rarely comes up in Churches.

Life being discovered on mars does absolutely does nothing to the bible. The bible tell of our history from the begining of our time not any one else's. This simply says that God wanted to teach us of him "our creator" and our history and proof of his existence.

Christians will first need to see physical proof of this life. Then when they have been satisfied they will tell you that their God created this life as well. No matter if this life is some alien or not. The bible was written at a time when people thought the world was flat and that North and South America didnt even exist.

Jesus said He had other flocks to visit and I have always hoped it meant there are other populated planets - that would be something. As for mars...microbes are an OK step but a space station that we can launch from to visit other places grabs me more. The bible is not affected by any of this.
