According to me, liking is attraction and love is from deep inside the heart.

The difference between like and love is a murky one. It’s like asking someone if their cup of tea is sweet enough. How do you know it’s sweet enough? Who defines sweet ‘enough’? What is ‘sweet’ and what’s not anyway? As you can see, there’s a whole other philosophical network of questions that springs up when one asks a question like this.
How do you know whether you love someone or just really, really like them?
The word ‘love’ is bantered around so much nowadays. There are the shallow ‘sweety-darling’ crowds who say they absolutely love everything, there are girls and guys who fall in love at the drop of a hat – often with an attractive stranger they met on the bus only to find out three months down the road that he/she is a stripper/Hyde & Jekyll/**** star or just plain weird.
People who fall in love at first sight might show the most passion of any couple you see on the street, but they are also the ones forming the high divorce rates we see nowadays.
On the other extreme, there are those who don’t believe in love. They’re the sciencey crowds who claim that love is a load of gibberish and that it’s all pheromones working in overdrive. They analyse everything to death and come to the conclusion that love is a mutually agreed upon illusion.

the difference is the 2 letters in between are different..just joking. Actually u can Like more than one person at a time, u can only Love one person at a time..Love is a special feeling for one particular gal or guy. Like is a general feeling..U can still go on strong in life if the person whom u like for some reason has to leave u but when ur loved one leaves u ..ur life becomes empty as if something is missing in your life even with everyone our family & frens beside us...

it does makes a difference, because the one u love, u would like to spend hours and hours just loving them, but the one u like... it may not be the same...
otherwise, the same things happens the most, the like changes later on into love... :)

Definition of Like--
It means u likes person's attitude, personality, looks, voice, etc..... but u dont give him/her ur everything, in another words ur choice about a man or woman did match with him/her.
Definition of Love--
Except all the above definition a person to whom u can say ur everything, u can trust him/her blindly, for whom u can sacrifice urself, and die for him.

Love and Like, both have common feature having likingness. But its called love when that very likingness is tagged with the desire to get, to have or to belong, etc.

when you love a girl yoour making a true commitment ot hem, likeing that girl is just liking saying you like them but not sure you want to spend the rest of your life with that person.

because love, you really like them and want to go out with them unless you already are and like is just thinkin someone is nice looking and you could like other people if you just "like" but love is totally different
