Plan A began with George Sr.
Plan B is going on now.
My sons are over there and it really is upsetting to read the crap people dish out.
I can't believe the trash I read.
My oldest boy is Airborne, He's proud to serve you folks and Proud to keep you all safe.
My second oldest is Marine recon and thrilled with the people in Iraq. He has been defended by them and helped till he was picked up by his unit. He caught some shrapnel in his hip and is home for the holidays.
My boys make me proud. I did 22 years in the Airborne and we are a Military family.
I've been shot. For you! I took the round so you didn't have to.
Get it?
George W is beyond belief, he's in my opinion, the original "yes man".
But my boys and every other soldier in the theater are doing YOU the service of cleaning up a hornet's nest.
They fight for you and the security of your homes. Don't think for a minute that Sadam would not have helped the Talliban or any other rebel faction, he would sell his mother for gold. He was and is one evil bastard.
For what ever reason the Chief's cabinet brewed up. We are there now. My sons and the sons and daughters of thousands just like us.
We stand behind our children and do so for the right reasons.
Cap I'm proud of you and everyone in your command. I'm proud of every one of our soldiers there and in Afghanistan.
This old Sarge respects everyone of you and thanks you for your service.
I agree with the asker on knowing GW's plan for Iraq. and Rumsfeld's ideology. I wish I knew what he was thinking.
He sure screwed the pooch.
We will get through this. Hope lives on the horizon.
Bless every one of you.
I've said my piece.

Everyone assumes that the war in Iraq is going differently than he planned. I am not so sure.

It seems to me that the war is going exactly to plan. A stable democratic Iraq would control it's own resources and might not be friendly to the American government. An Iraq torn by civil war means the the US Government makes all the decisions and that an American military presence is required for the long term. How else can we get a sovereign nation to ask us to stay after an invasion. If peace were to break out, the Iraqis would quickly say goodbye to all military presence not just combat troops.

A helpless, struggling, Iraqi government makes much more sense for the long term access to the oil. I will not be surprised to find out when the CIA documents are leaked or declassified to find there was more involved in this civil war than Iraqis that decided to use their new found freedoms to kill the neighbors they have been living with for years.

Unless action is taken by the US to remove ALL troops from Iraq, and to order all western intelligence services out of Iraq (you will be able to tell if they abide by the order because peace will erupt all over the Country), The violence will continue and probably be extended to the rest of the countries in the area.

Bush knew of the repercussions of invading Baghdad. They were clearly stated at the end of the first gulf war.

Every step of the operation has undermined the stated goals of this administration:

Too few troops were dispatched to maintain order

All existing Iraqi political and military structures were purposefully dismantled

Shock and Awe is used on a general population

The torture of prisoners and release of posed pictures at abu gharab prison

Allowing billions in cash to disappear

Not recording the serial numbers of weapons delivered to the area.

Taking no action to secure the borders of the country

The widespread killing of innocents

Bush may very well be crazy, but his plans for Iraq are proceeding as planned.

WOW all I have to say is WOW! I cannot believe your civilian stupidity! I have been in Iraq for a year as an officer and I have to say that anyone who says anything negative about the war has obviously NO idea what is going on over there! Now let me help you people understand this, the people over there LOVE US! No matter what you say the kids and families are always trying to give us gifts and when we are driving around many of the people wave and smile at us!

Now yes their are people there who do hate us. That is what you civies hear as insurgents. THese insurgents are using guerilla tactics to try and make us leave so they can use force to set up thier totallitarian government. OH and by the way BUSH has NOTHING TO DO WITH IRAQ!!!!!!!! Rumsfield put forth the idea, congress agreed with the data about WMD's and then their went the war.

If you have never noticed the President is practicly a figure head. YES he does have ultimate authority over the military but HE CANNOT declare war or send troops overseas without congress' permission.

Also remember that little war called VIETNAM?! THey used Guerilla tactics and we got our butts handed to us. Now 30 years later we took over a whole country in less than 2 years and are just getting rid of the last few rebels. So obviously we have learned how to deal with Guerilla warfare.

Oh and less than 3000 soldier's have died *R.I.P.* but compared to any other war in our history that number is almost insignificant.

So for all you civies who think you know EVERYTHING just cuz the TV tells you so, maybe you should go see it for yourself!

Everyone should come home from IRAQ Right?
And then what, I'll Tell you, 2 Million Iraqi's and Kurds will be extinguished by IRAN and AL-QUEDA . Then we will be responsible for Mass Murder, Do we want that on our hands?
After that happens a HUGE training camp will open up to train terrorists how to come over here and kills us, They will join forces and will NUKE us (only a matter of time before WWIII as this is just the beginning) Life here will change dramatically.
All of the spoiled kids will be homeless, hungry, burned and dying of radiation posioning Look how easy it was to kill those Russian Spy's Think they can't do that here any time they want?
American's are so stupid, we always think It won't happen to us.
Sept 11, proved that theory wrong. I am sick to death of all this Left Liberal crap, while America, whines about a war they no little about, WAKE UP, we are fighting for AMERICA's VERY SURVIVAL... Not Iraq's... If we leave Al-queda takes over... HELLO!

The Iraq invasion was not thoroughly planned because the mission was not yet accomplished until now without hope of solving the Iraqi fiasco.

It's a sad thing this crazy man is doing. Who are we to interfere in a war that has nothing to do with us. He uses our troops like a bunch of toy soldiers and seems to think if one dies he can just buy another one. All to fight HIS war not the United States war. It's a sad thing

That idiot has no idea what he's doing unless he's sitting in a restroom stall, and even then I have my doubts. Bush is a puppet of the neocons and does whatever they tell him to. He turned worldwide sympathy for us after 9/11 into worldwide hatred less than two years later. Talented, ain't he?
