Yes, men prefer younger women.
Marrying a man in his 40 and you are in your 20 because you think you love him is a big mistake. Only OK if there is a good reason for that ( a lot of money is one of the good reason). Such relationship is great in the start but mostly regrettable in the middle and after.
Men 35-45 are in their peak and they can demonstrate a great love skill which may get a girl in her early 20 to believe in them but sooner or later the ugly image of aging will creep in and you will be 35 at your peak and he is 55 senior citizen , Viagra dependent man.

I am sure that any man in love, no matter what age, would marry his girlfriend. The question should be, would a woman in her 20's be attracted to a man over 40? If she is mature enough and he feels young enough, why not?

You can't generalize. I have known many older men that I have tried to fix up with some of my younger friends....and the older men have told me they would like women closer too their own age. When you watch TV, it leads you to believe your stereo types are true.....but in my own personal experience, I would not agree.

Many older males seek younger females in order to deal with their own fears of aging. A 20 year gap is too large.

Generally I think that truth is stranger than fiction and for rational consenting adults the age thing varies enormously worldwide. As does the appearance thing, the height thing, the hair thing and so on... For mine, my second wife is 15 years younger than me and I am in my 50's... Dont feel it, but I am. Bugger that!

It's only 11 years between me and my fiance. I feel like we are only a year apart. I love him. I don't think love should have an age. Who putt rules on love anyway???

Yes, marring a much younger woman would be wrong, the woman will take everything the man has.
