I worked out that when i next renew my car insurance i can drop it by £300 if i add a second driver that's older, if i added a second driver would this effect his own insurance for his car? also if i added the second driver could i add a third as a learner? thanks in advance

No it wouldn't affect his own insurance but I would check about adding a learner driver as this could push up the premium again because they are classed as inexperienced and more of a risk.

Simple answer is no, unless...

If the named driver has an accident or gets a ticket while driving your car, it could affect his policy.

It will, however, affect your policy, especially if you add a learner to your policy. Check with your insurance agent regarding any questions you might have to get more specific answers.

it would not effect his own insurance if he was to go on yours, it would however if you were going to go on his. you can also as normally up to about 5 people on the policy and a learner should not be a problem depending on your insurance company, companies such as NU and Direct Line should be ok with it. hope that helps

it depends onthe driver on your ins if add ons wreck-get tickets it will efect every one AND YOUR RAITS COULD INCRESE
