I like the idea of a quiet ceremony. I think large weddings are a little silly. I have been in a few and the cost, time and stress wasn't worth the 20 minutes of vow taking. Keep it small and intimate. Make it special. You are there to take your vows to each other not an audience.

A quiet marriage ceremony is going to be very personal and have a small number of guests...a flamboyant ceremony is probably going to be more of a pre-reception celebration with all of your family and friends in attendance.

There are quite a few online quizzes that you can take to determine what kind of bride/groom you are (romantic, unique etc) and will help you narrow down your options.

Well it can actually be both simply because flamboyant is a style and quiet is somewhat of a mood I should say, so if you wanted you can actually make it flamboyant and quiet. But I was looking to have a wedding with fruit and fish as my center piece, so I don't know if you wanted to call that flamboyant, but if you want it quiet u might have to watch who and how many people you invite, for it to be a little bit personal and cozy. So Good luck with that, oh and allot of things that work for me is to look on line get ideas from Bridal website, and go to The Knot.com ,and/or watch it TV. It really helps, and start to buy some books about wedding. Go to allot of Bridal shows, that give away allot of things as well has give you some ideas and/or you might want to reference w/a planner if you can afford it. Good luck, and Congrad's.

Marriages are quiet but weddings are flamboyant!! Marriages are just meant for the two, but the weddings are for the family, friends and all near and dear ones to enjoy. So I believe it is upto you to decide whether you want a cosy, private marriage or a lavish, flamboyant revelry!!

That depends on you and your bride to be.
Personally, I would say small ceremony is the best. There is no need to spend thousands of dollars on one day. There is way too much pressure on couples having elaborate weddings now a days. It is so hard to keep a marriage together that a wedding is so insignificant in the long run.

cos it costs less and is less tiring and u can actually make the 1st night a 1st rather than sleeping it out
which means u r married and u have time for ur wife right away
