Islam is the end time religion prophesied in the Holy Bible. These prophecies could be found in the book of Daniel and Revelation.

Compare Islam with these prophecies; You will be amazed to see the perfection.

All religions talk of peace, but there are always extremists who bend the religion for their own purposes and use it to promote violence. It happened with the Aztecs, the Egyptians, and the Christians during the Crusades. And we're still seeing it from all angles - from the Muslim terrorists, to the Israelis building walls around people, to Christians putting their kids into camps in North Dakota to train them for holy war. And even within religions, Shiite and Sunnis kill each other, Catholics and Protestants kill each other. It's all ridiculous and it needs to stop.

Don't ask other what they thinking about Islam. The Islam follower have to tell everybody that Islam is the religion of peace. Every religion have an extreme sect, but we never heard they support violence. In Islam, almost everybody support violence. Everybody in Islam can tell they do this or that in the name of Islam, what a pity.

Depends on the forum. Islam is a very ancient religion that has though out history been associated with violence. Radical beliefs by uneducated individuals can cause a shift and distortion.

great question. but heres another: what is christianity about? or hinduism? indeed, what is religion about in the first place. as for peace and violence, religion reflects political situations, so, just as a civilisation can be both peaceful and violent at different times, and even at the same time, thus religion can be peaceful sometimes, violent at others, and both at the same time in certain periods

What is Islam?

The first thing that one should know and clearly understand about Islam is what the word Islam itself means. The religion of Islam is not named after a person, or a place, a tribe, a mountain or a river. Nor is the name just another –ism among the many that exist in the world today. The Arabic word Islam means the submission or surrender of one's will to the only true god worthy of worship, Allah (God in Arabic). A Muslim is the one who submits or surrenders his will to Allah. Hence, it was not a new religion brought by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in Arabia in the seventh century, but only the true religion of God re-expressed in its final form.

i think it is perceived differently to different people, some people(the ones who bomb people), think that all non Islams are evil, & others are nice people. I dont think it is the religion of peace, or war, it is just another religion.

violence? i dont think so. yeah, ppl do terrible things in the name of islam, one trade centre incident started the whole thing like a bunch of dominoes. if u ask me, i think it is very unfair to generalize. so what if 0.00001% of a group are terrible blood-thirsty ppl, there are hundreds of millions of innocent ones suffering humiliation for something not connected to them in any way. THAT'S NOT FAIR!
islam does have some rules for everything, all for its followers to lead better lives. ot to kill others - if they do, it means they've grossly misunderstood the writings of the quran, nothing else.

I think islam is the work of satan. My God and there allah are not the same at all. Any religion that tells you to conceal certain elements is not of God. Deceit is the work of satan.
