I think it is about the same as the "key to the city" looks nice on a wall, but doesn't help on a resume.
Better to just stay in school and get a job with good tuition reimbursement.

Honorary PhD's are worthless. They're just a title schools give out to people who they want associated with them (and in hopes of getting some donations). My uncle has one. He didn't do anything for it other than being rich and successful. He's never even had any actual educational connections with the school that gave it to him until they gave him that degree.
I have heard of one getting a PhD in 3 years, but it's rare and hard. It's typically a 4-6 yr program b/c you're cheap labor for the professor and they don't want to give that up.

There are plenty of fake degree's that can be bought over the internet from bogus American universities and Academic institutions. A quick Yahoo or Google.com search will find them for you if you put in the correct search key words.

it is very difficult. But i believe you can if you have done many years of important research towards a subject.
