Praying and worshipping the One True God is the greatest necessity of all rational beings. This sublime action attracts the divine guidance for us to realize our destiny of carrying out an ever-advancing civilization on earth and to spiritually progress in the other worlds of God.

I mainly pray to let out my personal thoughts. I generally don't worship the way you might think. I am a pagan and have a different belief than most others.

A prayer of gratitude opens the heart. If you can say, "Thank you for letting me get out of bed today, for giving me another chance," and mean it, you may just approach the whole day differently. So prayer can be very useful.
Worshipping? Only insomuch as it inspires the worshipper.
