yes, we have to be thankful for a morsel of food too, cause there are many dying of hunger, you should be grateful to god for each and every moment of your life cause your life could have been more miserable than it is.

Is it possible for you to give enough thanks to Demeter or Gaia for the food you eat? See,it doesn't feel so good when somebody tells you to praise THEIR god, does it? Maybe you should take that into consideration before acting like an egocentric prick.

if there was, would it matter? i never thank god for my food and yet i eat well everyday. others do thank him wholeheartedly, and that devotion is commendable, for just a scrap they find. god could zap food from my ungrateful self and give it to them (then they'd REALLY have something to be thanking him for!!!) and maybe I'd realize the err of my ways. but that never happens.

yes, and its possible to give too much thanks to God for something. You might want to consider thanking the farmersthat grew the crops and the factory workers who helped turn those crops into food

No, god never expected thanks from us. God expect us to be good and be truth and help others. Even if we cannot help others , atleast god wanted us to not to trouble anyone.

Yes. God wants us to be thankful. He does not want us to grovel.
