in between jobs or not, your dog NEEDS to see a vet. i know it may sound harsh but she is just a puppy, and a month is too long to do nothing, and in this case anything but taking her to the vet is nothing. think harder to try to work something out, for your puppy's sake

It's hard to say exactly what is wrong, since dogs throw up for many reasons. I see many dogs, especially shelter dogs, vomit like that when they are under a lot of stress.

Be very careful about what you give her. I would not de-worm her now without a test from a vet because you don't know what is happening to her internally and the de-worming meds could make the problem worse. I would monitor what she is eating, and keep her away from garbage and other small things she might be eating outside or in the house. Finally, she needs to go on a gentle diet (no regular dog food) for a few days to a week. My vet always suggests Hills Science Diet I/D caned food.

It is possible that heat may be playing a role in her condition, but it is hard to tell, since her symptoms are so vague. Keep her cool as much as you can. I would keep her in the air conditioning and buy her one of those cooling pads that go around a dog's neck.

There are many cauuses of vomiting. If it is not infectious, probably it can be a foreign body in the stomach (stone, plastic or anything). When the pathway going to the intestine is obstructed, food cannot go thru so it bounce back. But sometimes that thing if not so big can be regurgitated. If this is not the cause, there is a symptom in dogs which is called bilious bile syndrome wherein a dog just vomits without any obstruction, some sort of hyperacidity. This is nothing to worry about if it occurs once in a while. If your dog is exposed directly to the sun , he might be suffering from heat stress or when severe , a heat stroke. So try to place your dog in a more comfortable place especially if your dog is long haired.

You really need to try the vet, maybe one will let you make payments. It sounds a lot like worms to me. If you insist you cant afford the vet, at least worm the puppy. you may need to do this weekly. Check the gums and if they appear pastey and light or whitening, then the pup is wormy. There are several different types of worms and not all over the counter worm medicines will work. It could also be that he is eatting something you arent aware of or even human scraps of food. Try feeding the puppy on a schedule, mostly mornings since he is getting ill in evenings. Keep lots of fresh water out for him and make sure he only eats dog food. Good Luck!!!

Hmm well have you watched the pup and seen if she has been eating her own poop. Gross as it maybe i've had a dog that would eat her own then try to raid the cat litter box .

Or is your dog eating Grass for some reason dogs wil eat grass and if they eat enough of it will throw up.

We used to breed dogs so i've seen alot of stuff . Next question is does your dog sneeze alot my current Rott has sinus problems and i belive it's pollen anyways when she get her sinus problems going sometime she will throw up and you will see like a bubbley mucus in it .

Warning if she starts drinking ton's of water and throws up more than she is now see if you can find a nice vet who will cut you a break and have her Sugar checked ..

You are responsible for the welfare of this dog, being inbetween jobs is absolutely no excuse for not taking this dog to the vet in over a month....this is disgusting.

Call your vet, explain the situation and ask if you can make arrangements to pay off the bill and keep ringing Vets until you find one.

If that fails then you need to find the money.....look around your house....what can you sell......sounds harsh but you are 100% responsible for the welfare of this dog.

In Australia you could be charged with neglect, it is RPSCA law to provide medical treatment for an animal in need....call the RSPCA and see if they can assist you.

Since she is a pup, she may be chewing on things that puppies sometimes do and don;t agree with her stomach. Do you notice socks missing (i'm serious) or items with chew marks with chunks gone from it? She may be getting into trouble at night eating things she shouldnt and therefore trying to gag them back up and that's where all the slimey water saliva is coming from... Is she hacking as well when throwing up? If she is a chewer, maybe keep her locked in a safe room at night.

Sorry to hear of your prob. I would go back to basics... Yep start over. Feed a small amount of puppy chow dry several times a day for several days , Do NOT feed any people food this is important only puppy chow and always fresh water... Try this for 1 week and see what happens. Good luck?

its really hard for us to answer your question via internet, even if one of us is a vet.. i think the best solution is to ask for all your friends' help to pool for some cash to visit a good vet, ASAP!!!! the last dog i had also has vomitting symptoms and was in the hands of a cheap vet, it was too late when we realized that the cheap vet wasn't helping. we moved him to a good one but it was too late. he died at the operating table in the vet. i hope for a good life for your pup. if only i could help you financially i would.
