It's been 4 months since I broke up with my FWB and my life seems really empty and I still think about her every day. Not sure if I am becoming obsessed or not but it has become a habit like it is burnt onto my brain, not sure how to ignore my feelings for her. This is the hardest thing ever

Find something else you can focus on. Maybe volunteer somewhere where your attention is required and you wouldnt have time to think of her. All you need is one thing to keep your focus. After awhile it will get easier but you have to keep real busy for it to happen. Dont trap yourself in hell.

Having suffered from this the last 4 months I guess it is obsessive. Sometimes if you love a person it is hard not to be.
You do have to let her go especially if you love her. I realized that he wasn't happy with me. While it hurts even now, I wanted him to be happy. You can't make someone love you if they won't. I leave crosswords everywhere and when I start to focus on the past I try to focus on the crossword puzzle. It doesn't always work but even if it takes your mind off of yout thoughts for her for a minute it is worth it. Take care of your health because breaking up with someone can actually affect your health if you allow it. I know it has affected mine.

you focus on your happiness, and do things for your self, running , staying/getting in shape, taking up a new hobby, do not dwell on her , she is probably not dwelling on you and in fact having a great time, otherwise you two would still be together, just think, the 2 of you broke up for a reason, keep that in mind when missing her. ignoring feelings is not an option, dealing with them is. take care and good luck in your endevours.

Try focusing your mind on other things. You have to move on and help yourself.
