Firstly make sure you have the computer completely turned off.... When you start the computer keep hitting the F8 button and select the option to start in safe mode.

It is most likely that there was some drivers installed that caused the problem. Once you start the computer i suggest you restore the computer to an earlier time and also clean boot the computer.

To system restore click start - all programs - accessories - system tools - system restore. Go through the option to restore the computer to an earlier time and select a date from the calendar to a date before the problem started.

Once restored the computer will restart if the problem still occurs. Go back into safe mode and then click start - run and type in msconfig and click ok and then click on the startup tab and click disable all, then click on the services tab and select the option hide all microsoft services and then click disable all and then apply and restart.

Unfortunately if the safe mode option also doesnt work, you would have to reinstall windows and if that fails as well, i guess there is something that is completely stuffed and u would have to take the laptop to a hardware vendor.

Hope this helps....

Well if its consistent, then you should reformat windows, if that didnt help, maybe there's a hardware malfunction and you should bring it to a technician.
