need advice on how to adjust the laser sight SSI for 15xt.?

I mounted a ssi laser guide for a 15xt (under mount) not on top. It aims 3 inches below the top sights. Help. Mike

Do you have a model? The only thing I come up with is the SSI laser bore sight and those do not go on an under mount. Those attatch to the barrel. If you stuck one on an under mount, it would aim low. I also see that they are for rifles, and not pistols. What they are for is to mount on the end of the barrel to show where the bullet is going to go and then adjust your sight without shooting rounds. They are not for quick aiming as those that would go on an undermount.
