I like Maxwell House Powdered coffee but it is proving very difficult to find. In fact all powdered coffee seems to be scarce. Is there a reason for this?

I think your in the minority and like every product in the world, as soon as it falls out of popularity then the companies wind down production due to stores stocking less.
Most big supermarkets should stock one or two brands in the vast range they keep these days, i think it has am image problem being seen as an 'old womans' drink. (sorry,lol)
