Of all the places you have travelled or lived, where is the most magical and what makes it so for you?

i live on an island 35 minutes away from Victoria, B.C. it is the best. the population is about 10 000, it's got that small town feel where everywhere you go, you know someone, and you wave at people constantly driving down the road. i have lived here for 5 years, my husband for 34 years. it is very green and foresty, and alot of creative crafty people live here, and alo of normal folk too. there are mountains and lakes and the odd hippie from the 60's that has grown up. this is the most magical place i have ever lived, and we and my son never want to live anywhere else.

tough question but I think of all the places, Africa is the most special. One day you're in the city then the next week you are out on safari seeing all the wildlife and being pampered back at the camp then off to the winelands for a few days. Okinawa. It was a very beautiful and fun place to live. I was there for four years with my family. My Dad was in the Air Force and we went over with him. I went to school there with kids from all over the world. They were so interesting and fun to be around. Meeting local people and getting to know some of them was great, too. It is a place like no other. It is a tiny tropical island just over 300 miles off the coast of Japan.

Ceiba,Puerto Rico. You have everything there in less than an hour.Old & new San Juan, the most beautiful beaches in the word, rain forests . The food is fantastic.

For me it is GOA (india) . I went to goa on my honeymoon. it is majestic . Beaches are very beautiful.
the water is very clear.
