I want to make rice krispie balls instead of the traditional rice krispie treats, I've been searching for recipes and they all seem so different from the traditional one, I was wondering if anyone has a recipe for them? Can you just do everything you would when making regular rice krispie treats then shape them into balls or no?

yes but be sure you butter your hands before trying to roll them into balls.

We make this at home but not sure if it is the one you want:

Rice Krispie Balls:

Used as much ingredients as you want- you can;t go wrong, just make sure it is in a thick consistency that you can roll into balls.

Ingredients:

-Crushed digestive biscuits. ( about half packet let's suggest)
-A little more than half medium sized can of Nestle's Condensed sweetened milk.
- Rice krispies in a bowl.

Method:

Mix crushed biscuits with the Nestle's Condensed Sweetened milk to the right ( thick) consistency.

Roll into balls in the palm of your hands. Set each on a plate.

Roll the balls into the Rice Krispies till each are well covered.

Bring a round plate, place a doilie on it, arrange around the plate , layer on layer until you have a somewhat pyramid shape. Serve.

You can roll it out into a flat oblong I think and use different shaped cookie cutters like stars etc. to make it different.
