It proves to me that the powers that were at the time wanted to control how we saw and understood the "Christ" mythology, but it didn't disprove that Jesus was actually here, as I believe he was, but I don't believe all the Mumbo Jumbo about him. Only that he was a really cool guy who had the ability to see things in a different light, and wanted us to find the good in each other. If we all just followed those simple examples everyday, our lives would be a lot better, and you don't have to roll around on the floor speaking in tongues or believing in "Faith Based" absolutes that don't make any sense. Jesus was against all those things, and he didn't appear to care to much for organized religion, as it was too dogmatic. One of the most inflammatory things about the Gospel According to Thomas the Gnostic(which was eliminated by this council) was that Jesus said, "Split a piece a would and you will find me, lift a rock and I will be there". I read that as saying that God is all around us, and I will be too, Metaphorically, so get out and breath the air. It has nothing to do with who or what or how you worship, just worship.

you're redefining the precedence, that's what deceivers do. The council made it criminal for Christians to do what they were doing for over 2 hundred years: gathering at the same time on Sundays for communal worship and prayers. The "relax" element replaced into voluntary. The sabbath of the former covenant replaced into basically about relax, and under no circumstances communal worship. you're also utilizing this as a straw-guy argument; yet another approach employed with the help of deceivers. What a shame you need to motel to such measures as a fashion to attempt to make the case your faith, or the different faith is the right one. It actual proves your faith to be fake, seeing as you employ the approaches of deception in an attempt to coach some thing authentic. the authentic faith will be depending in truth, and position self belief in truth. .

No - it's proof that even then, the church fathers wanted all of the so called truth hidden from the masses. Doesn't necessarily make it fiction, but it does make it highly compromised and therefore subject to much disbelief.

Not at all.
All the council did was make official what the Church had already practiced and preached for around 300 years.

An invisible man impregnating a virgin, talking snakes, people rising from the dead, faith healing, walking on a liquid, the boy with no dad floating into the sky and a person living in the belly of a water bound mammal were tip offs as well (just to name a few).

The decisions reached indicate that Christian theology is a contrivance; not that there was not spiritual truth in what Jesus taught.
