it depends. some men feels flattered when a woman makes the first move on them. but most men, loves the thrill of the chase and wants them to hunt and conquer women. it depends on how the woman approaches the man as well, as long as it is done in good taste, then men would appreciate it as well. besides, it's the new millenium, men and women are equal! we can do what the heck we want to do as long as we are happy and we are not bringing harm to others. it's all good!

Yes. Because women tend to be the ones rejecting the man. You making the first move is a good sign. In a relationship, how many times does a man reject the woman? Never.

This generation does, I`m sure of it.
Thirty or fifty years ago, I`m not too sure it was sociologically acceptable but then again, I wasn`t around to find out!
Young men these days seem to appreciate it quite a bit when a woman takes charge, especially in the romance department.
I wouldn`t say the same about the working environment though...
Ask a few men around you!
What do they have to say on the matter?

I think it's sexy for a woman to make the first move. But a guy shouldn't move back until the time is right not just because he is at attention. After a relationship is developed I think it's even more sexier for a woman to make the first move. To me it's depressing to have to make the first move all the time. But again remember don't make the first move till your ready to begin that chapter in life.

No matter who makes the first move, if it leads to sex I'm all for it. Being a man I would honestly say if the woman made the first move early in the relationship I might second guess maintaining the relationship, or advancing it for fear the woman is going to cheat on me. Yes, it sounds one sided even to me but that's what my gut still tells me.

I think it really depends on the guy. I myself am a shy person and would prefer the girl to make the first move.

It all depends on the maturity level of the guy; and how the approach is made.
Some guys like the chase.
I don't have time for that.
Personally, I like a woman to let me know she wants me.
If she asks me to go somewhere with her, not only am I flattered; but if I like her, it eliminates a lot of B.S..
It lets me know that she wants my attention.
Just don't be TOO aggressive, and think about the maturity level of the man you approach.

I would definitely be flattered! Making the first move or not, it is the bottomline that matters. In business the bottomline is profit, in a relationship, the bottomline line is to be able to have a chance to be together.

I gave the last man I dated my phone number. When we went to leave he asked so can I call you. It was that easy. He was interested and I was interested. He seemed like he was looking to meet up with someone. That is something I will never be sorry I did.
