I'm sure they had other children as well as cain and Able. Sons and daughters. You can find further evidence of this in the bible. If you recall, very few women are mentioned in the bible at all, and yet humanity continued. It is also a little presumpious to assume that Eve was "knocked up" by her children.

Well, you need to read on in the book of Genesis. It says that Adam and Eve had more children than just Cain and Able. It is just that they were the first two and told a very important story so that is why they are the only ones really listed or talked about. Adam and Eve had some daughters as well...the only gross part is they were siblings...but we are all related somehow:)

They had sons as well as daughters. If you read the Bible, you would know this. Back then because they were so close to perfection and because there were so few people, the idea of incest wasn't considered something wrong. There was really no chance of giving birth to a down syndrom child and because God wanted the human's to inherit the earth this was almost required of them to have intercourse with their relatives.

Cain and Able most likely had sex with their sisters, I'm not sure they did with their mother. And any Bible that omits certain details like Adam having daughters, is a Bible with issues in itself.

Genesis 5: 4 speaks of Adam fathering sons and daughters. Humanity would have continued by them (the sons) having children with a sister or niece. Which sounds disgusting now, but back then they did not have the genetic defects that we have today, and it was somewhat common in those days for close relatives to get married (mainly for inheritance purposes and so forth).

The popular idea is that there were daughters not mentioned in the bible. But the story cannot be reconciled with the genetic evidence, which shows that although there were a single male and a single female whose genes now inhabit us all, they never saw each other -- they lived 250,000 years apart.

"And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begot sons and daughters:" Genesis 5:4

Cain and Abel were spoken about because they were important characters. Adam and Eve had many other sons and daughters.
