Ok, this may be the wrong advice as your question was not the easiest to understand but here we go...

DO NOT LET THE BIRD GO!!!!!!!
You have already (I think) stated that your keet cannot fly so why the hell would you want to let it go?? It will certainly be dead within the first day?? If it has been in a cage for the last 5 months it will not be used to fending for itself and will be completely unable to without the use of its wings. Ring a rescue centre to rehome him or get in touch with a vet now!!!
How do you people end up with animals??????

h the poor baby. I hope you havent just kept it locked up all the time. Do you take it out and play with it. Birds need a lot of human attention. You should not let it go. If you live in the ohio area or surrounding states, I will gladly take it for you. Lorikeets are so beautiful. Please do not let it go, and spend time with it. I bet it is mean as all get out.

Is it a pet bird? or a wild bird you are trying to help?
If it is a wild bird and still can't fly and you let it go, yes it will die.
If it is a pet bird, why would you let it go?
