Well there are many. See a doctor.
I used to get them and mine were unusual thus my response.
Seems I had a "cross bite" where my lower jaw sat about .5cm off to the right.
We had tried medication for about 3 years to no avail (I had the migrane's constantly, at least twice a week).
When it was finally discovered by my dentist that I had a cross bite they gave me an expanding plate that I expanded slightly every day. After 3 months the headaches stopped. It seems the stress on the muscles on the left connecting my lower jaw was causing the headaches.
Since then (this was 15 years ago) I have not had a single migraine!!!!
Sugar is another cause for somepeople.

Ok. If the chiropractor are not able to repair this, then it does not have so much to do with nerves or muscle groups. This does not sound in any respect like a migraine, believe me, I recognize what they're. And percocets do paintings very good. You would possibly have got to pass to a diagnostic middle and get an MRI and CT test. I do not desire to scare the hell out of you, however it might be a tumor. Go see a nose, throat and ear specialist. I had to get a nasal job done because I kept on sinus infections, then the migraines started because of the required surgery,
How I knew a migraine was coming on is my teeth would start hurting, I would take a tylenol then I would lay down and sleep.
Another things too, maybe you need to go and see a Chiropractor.
I start getting head aches when my neck was out. My ex husband has a bad spot right below is neck to the spine he kept getting head aches on. How it stopped, with my hand I pushed real hard.

to much blood flow to certain regions of the brain.
a lack of stimulation of the 5-ht 1-d subtype receptor on veins in the brain may be the cause of this.
the medications amerge, imitrex, maxalt, and zomig help treat this.
caffiene helps decrease blood flow to the brain.
there are a few others that decrease blood flow the the brain such as ergotamine, midrin etc.
