Ok i have been seeing this girl for 2 weeks, should i get her a present? I mean is it too early, have we been seeing each other long enough to warrant a present? And no it is not me being tight! Just if i get her a present will she think i am a bit forward! If yes could i have some ideas? Thanks

yep, something small, just so you don't look like you don't care. Its always hard at xmas with a new relationship, just go for something small though, a cd, chain, flowers or even a book if she reads.
You might want to find out if she likes flowers though before buying her any, I personally can't stand them and used to have a boyfriend who brought me a red rose every saturday morning, I hated it !! but the thought was nice

I think if you feel like you want to get her a present its perfectly exceptable.
I ran into this a couple years ago when my bf and I started dating. We were only togeter for 4 weeks before Xmas hit. My suggestion is to get a gift that allows the two of you to spend more time together. You both are still enjoying figuring each other out and its great to have an extra excuse to hang out. Keep the gift to around 20 dollars. You dont want to scare the other person by going overboard.
The classic ones are gift cards to the local movie theather or a giftcard to your favorite restuarant/hang out spot to date. Get yourself a cute/joke Xmas card. Something funny and lite just enough to let them know they were thought of an put the gift cards/certficates in there.
Put a note inside that says "I really enjoy spending time with you and this is so we can do that again really soon." I got that card from my bf and it just melted me. I knew he was interested, wanted to be with me and yet it didnt make me feel weird like perfume or jewerly would have.
Its a nice clean gift and the personalized card is what sells it.

How about taking to a beauty spot near by on Christmas eve, for around about 11:30, breathe in and spend the next half an hour with her admiring the beauty of the dark sky, with the stars shinning brightly above the pair of you and see Christmas in with her. This way you have shown you care very deeply for her to have done this, you have spent the begining of Christmas day with her, but this will allow for both of you to spend Christmas day with your families.
Or how about a small gift of a photo of the pair of you in a lovely glass etched picture frame, something small, but effective.

Well you should get her something small - dont spend too much on it -but dont scrimp on it either. I think something costing say up to a maximum of 50 quid would be ok - maybe a nice bottle of perfume or a make up set would be nice. I just think jewellery might be a bit too personal at this stage..

Seriously, it's supposed to be about the thought (not chastising you, just the what the holiday has become). I suggest something that involves a little effort on your part. Corny, but along the lines of making her a CD. Small effort but shows your thinking about her and who you see her as.

Find out the kind of things she likes, i bet she would love to receive a present from you.
Flowers or jewelry are a good idea.

Flowers, Something that brings back memories or inside jokes for my brother I got him wooden spoons, a locker and antibacterial hand soap. Walmart has some gift packages. Also this site has some really good ideas: http://www.gifts.com/

I would get her a small present to be on the safe side, just in case she buys you a present and you havent got one to give her back!

You should definitely get her a present, at least she will know you have thought about her. Nothing huge, just a token gift (dont go with kinky underwear just yet though) to let her know you really like her!

Give more details about her. And yes give her a gift. Girls respect that, plus what if she gives u one but u don't have one 4 u? Better safe than sorry!
