i see ur bright eyes, ur glowing face
u melt my heart and stop its pace
i cant believe i like u this much
for deep inside i feel ur touch
my love for you flies like a dove
for nothing can tear apart my love.

this is my fave shakespeare sonnet
it doesnt rhyme - but i think it shows that true beauty is inside a persons heart - or at least thats what i think its supposed to mean. its sonnet 130
My mistress' eyes are nothing like the sun;
Coral is far more red, than her lips red:
If snow be white, why then her breasts are dun;
If hairs be wires, black wires grow on her head.
I have seen roses damasked, red and white,
But no such roses see I in her cheeks;
And in some perfumes is there more delight
Than in the breath that from my mistress reeks.
I love to hear her speak, yet well I know
That music hath a far more pleasing sound:
I grant I never saw a goddess go,
My mistress, when she walks, treads on the ground:
And yet by heaven, I think my love as rare,
As any she belied with false compare.

well this poem doesn't rhyme but i think its really nice. I wrote it for a guy, but you can use it if you want to. but if she doesn't have blue eyes change that part to chocolate or a forest or somthing.
everytime i see you..
you kill me.
our eyes meet...
and i drown in the crystal
blue water of your eyes
you smile at me...
and the radiant glow
of your loving grin
blinds me
you laugh at a joke a friend has told you...
and i hear the most beautiful,
happy, affectionate, adoring
sound that God ever created...
and it deafens me
every time i see you...
my heart literally stops,
for my love for you is
greater than the universe
and i have no idea what to do about it
what to say to you
what to think
what to do
you transfix me.

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with the passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints!---I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life!---and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.

why don't you make your own poem. then it is truely coming from your heart and it will actually tell her how you feel. and at the end, just write your name so she knows you took the time to make it for her. that would really make her feel special to know you would take the time to write a poem for her.
