how many would be beaten or killed by angry Christians?

I never said atheism was a religion.

I was just trying to point out the level of hatred Christians have for atheists

Well as a person becoming Catholic, I would hope that no one gets hurt or killed. I think the best thing to do is to invite them in and start to ask them a few question. Try to convert them. After witch I'm sure my door will be tagged to never go to again!!

Dude, I'd kill them even though I myself am an atheist. I hate converters. They're annoying and a waste of time. It's not so much that the Christian that kills them hates the religion, it's more because that person is pissed off that they have to waste time with a complete stranger when they have better things to do. Converters must die.

No person can be "converted" to Atheism.

For those who have no clue...Atheism is indeed a religion.

Religion: any specific system of belief, worship, or conduct that prescribes certain responses to the existence (or non-existence) and character of God.

Atheism: the doctrine or belief that there is no God

This presumes atheists need to "convert" others, but in reality it's this kind of door-to-door selling that makes us angry to begin with. So the chances of any group of atheists-- who are more private than most people anyway-- would start such a campaign are remote in the extreme. But in answer to the original question: Considering how often I have had so-called "Christians" become red-faced, enraged, and vocal about how I "dare to be an atheist" (and make no mistake: those exact words were thrown at me), I have no doubt such a campaign would involve serious physical risk.

None would be beaten or killed by Christians, because we don't do things like that, however we might invite the atheists in and tell them about the Gospel of Jesus and hope they convert.

lol, i think real christians would actually kill you. the not so die hard christians would just close the door on you.

I think door to door conversion is just retarded. Common Sense is the only thing that will save people from being retarded. Nothing you can do. Though, if you have any good ideas, I'm all ears.

Come to my door and try it. We'll see who converts whom. By the way, angry reactions and violence are the specialty of the other side, not ours. God bless you, and Merry Christmas!

You'd probably just get prayed for. A real Christian would not hurt you.

I believe none would hurt them as this would be a violation of their christian duties.
