Break out a punch bowl! Punches are very popular made with juices, adding sparkling water, ginger ale or 7up. Sangria is a wine based drink that is popular but doesn't require expensive wines since it is also a punch. Hot choc with peppermint, coffee drinks with alcohol added. Egg nog and ice cold soda pop and beers. Blended drinks go over well also.

Eggnog (spiked or not--bourbon, brandy, and rum are good spikers), Shirley Temples (for the nonalcoholic crowd), Bailey's & Whatever (vodka, coffee...whatever)

Wassail is good. It's kind of like a spiced cider thing.
