Many Scottish names will generally begin with the prefix "Mac", while some Irish surnames will begin with "Mc." This is one way to know if a name is actually Scottish in origin, although not all Scottish names have such a beginning to them. Here are a few ideas for your "name" that are genuine Scottish surnames with actual clans bearing these names:
Gunn
MacKenzie
Cameron
MacLachlan
MacLaren
MacLeod
MacPherson
Macrae
Maxwell
Stewart ( a royal moniker)
Wallace
Sutherland
MacGowan
Farquaharson

There, hopefully that should be of help to you!
