When I try to download Picasa it says I need a DLL. I have no clue what this is. Can someone answer this for me?

A DLL (Dynamic-Link Library) file is generally a component of either your system software or an application; it usually contains code that an application refers to in order to run. In this case, I would guess that Picasa is not finding some piece of system software it needs -- after all, if the missing DLL were part of Picasa, presumably the installer would provide it.

All this is just guesswork, however, since you haven't said what DLL is missing or where you get the error. Do you get the error while downloading Picasa, or while running the installer? And what does it say?

Most likely you're either using a version of Windows that is too old, or you are using a non-Windows operating system like the Mac OSX or Linux.
