Im Malaysian and I just eat RM2.50(MYR) for lunch.It will be rice 2 types of vegetables and 2pieces of meat.Describe ur lunch pls..The cost and food.Is mine too cheap?

I often eat at home or take a lunch to work. I estimate my home cost of $1.50 to $2.50 US dollars. When I buy lunch it averages $3 to $7 US dollars. My lunch usually includes 1 meat, some rice /pasta or sandwhich on bread with either a piece of fruit or some salad like vegetables from home. Other times it is a bowl of soup or chili and occassionally it is a hamburger/chicken burger and fries or pizza slices or Mexican or Asian dishes. I am American and variety for my taste buds has come to be antcipated. I seldom eat the exact same items for more than 3 meals in a week.

$1 dollar?!!! holy cow! at my college i buy a turkey sub for $3.50, anything that comes with rice, 2 vegetables and 2 pieces of meat would cost like $6

I'm from Singapore. My lunch usually cost me S$2.00 - S$4.00 (USD$1.40-$2.70).
Chicken rice - S$2.00 - S$2.50 or
Rice + 2 Veges + 1 meat = S$2.00 - S$2.50
Fried Rice or Fried Noodles or Fish Soup with rice = S$2.50 - $4.00

I have a employee dining room and it only cost $2.50 for a entree w/two sides. Some items are ala carte and costs as low as .50 cents

WELL ITS TO EXPENSIVE COS I GET THREE DISHES AND A COKE AND ALSO A FREE ICE-CREAM WHICH I REALLY LOVE FOR JUST$1.50 AND IT IS WORTH IT.
