What would you like to hear from a long lost ex-lover?

If you were to suddenly receive a letter in the mail from someone you once dated years ago, someone who you weren't ever expecting to hear from again (not someone you've been avidly pining over or obsessed with), what would you want it to say?

I should add that this isn't someone you had a nasty break-up with, of course, or obviously you wouldn't want them writing to you at all...

You have to been in love at some point in your life in order to have a long lost lover ex - lover. Since I've never been in love, I'd have to assume that it was either fantasy mail or something that had dropped in from another universe.
