Just think about what you're saying & try to think if they wern't around at all.A bit drastic I know but you'll soon be wishing them back into your life.

No. I love having my family round. But this could be because I live in Athens Greece and do not see my family very often. They usually come once a year and I go home once a year, but that is not much and I miss them terribly.

not at all i love it cos we dont really see each other, i would love to have a patronising grandma she died 2 yrs ago!!!!!!!!! treasure ur family u only get 1 and u will miss them dearly when they gone

Yes, especially my wife's cousin and her husband - EVERY boxing day. They look down on us and the husband is the most obnoxious and sarcastic person I know. He's never done an honest days work in his life yet he thinks he knows it all - an utter gobshite who only got his money through his parents deaths.
They never bother with us the rest of the year but it all smiles and lovey dovey on Boxing Day - it makes me want to vomit.

I never had that problem with my grandma she was a lovely person. I guess some of us are lucky to be gifted with nice family.

Nothing worse than having to invite over a family member,you can`t stand,always moaning at what is being done for them,you try your best every year to no avail....familys hey who`d have them

I would love to have my grandparents round, unfortunately they are all dead now. I used to get on with them really well, but as for my mother, after about 5 minutes ive had more than enuf! don't get me wrong I love her any all that but she knows how to drive me crazy and she usually does! shes coming round on thursday help me!!! I get on ok with my Dad tho. I used to really hate having my in-laws round, they were know alls, you know, the been there done that type, but now im getting divorced I don't ever have to see them again Yippeeee!!!!

Um, I don't HATE having them around, but then they live about 2 hours away, so they don't live on my doorstep, which is a bonus. And although I love them, God, they do annoy me when I go up for the weekend.

most of the time my mothers family are really bad bar 1 uncle cant stand my mother only see her when i have too
