We have this inside corny thing (we both admit it) of saying to the moon and back. I couldn't find moon stuff but I think the stars will do the trick. If you were a college aged girl would you like these and wear them?

yes, they are really pretty, and it shows you put thought into it too!! Be sure to tell her on the card that you couldn't find the moon, so you're giving her the stars....

They are some really nice earrings. She would love them especially since you all have a special meaning with the moon and stars. It will touch her knowing all the thought and preparation that was put into them and put into making her happy and making sure she loves the earrings. I think that is a perfect gift to give her. You might can ge the moon necklace to go with it that is also at Tiffany's.

I think you've got a good gift idea for your girlfriend. If you are changing the phrasing, she may not immediately see the connection. Make sure you have something to clue her in to the fact that you took a while preparing her gift. Off the top of my head I would say something like "You know I would go to the moon and back for you, but you should know that I would go to the stars and back (present gift)." Just an idea, good luck!

I'm a college aged girl and I know she will love that they are from Tiffany's. For me I probably wouldn't wear them, but my roommate would definitely wear them. She will love also that they have a hidden meaning/inside joke/corny thing. That will impress her that you thought about that.

I personally dont like them, but thats not to say she wont. Im picky when it comes to earrings.
But I think the fact that you put so much thought into it, and that it has this special meaning between the two of you, will make it priceless for her.
