They are insecure about themselves, so they pick on others for their own enjoyment. It makes them feel they are better than them.
Karma will bite them in the butt and they'll be treated how they treat others.

Like all of us, mean people are shaped by the experiences and people in their life. Really, they're mean because of the way they've been raised, by the way they've been treated, and by their own resulting insecurities. When I'm around a person who's constantly mean, I like to remind myself that under all of that meanness, that person is just another insecure, vulnerable human being. That's just life unfortunately, and I feel bad for those kinds of people :(

it a fact of life. There's goodness, then there's meanness. We define mean on the standard of goodness. So the answer to your question, it's because we're humans. We are made with certain flaws. Some chose to do good, others bad.
But keep your head high. Do not allow the weakness, meanness of others govern your day! Bring your own weather wherever you go.

Many things can cause it. Some had terrible childhoods or just get a rise out of feeling like they hurt someone. Others I think just have something wrong inside their brains.

Mean people are just mean because their mama's couldn't teach them any better. They have no respect for others nor themselves. And they think that because they're mean they can have their way in everything. And do they feel bad afterwards? not really. I hate ignorant people who just can't seem to make society a better place for everyone

Well there are good and bad in everyone.
Unfortunately, some people prefer to be more good.
And some people prefer to be more bad.
It says in the Bible...
A good tree cannot produce bad fruit.
And a bad tree cannot produce good fruit.
That is just how it is.

Meanness is temporary for whatever reason which could be many.
To generalize say from mean environment.
For us to cope with it, stay calm, get away from it, and not react to it as much as it fit.
To practice to calm the situation by sending calm wave to the enviornment has been scientifically proved to be the case.

They are insecure.
There is really nothing you can do about that and also there is no point to be wondering about that neither. I know bad attutude is contagious, but hey.....just ignore those who hate the world.

I think they have to be in order to restore the balance in this country. Otherwise it will always tilt a little to the left.

because they have nothing better to do with there lives , but to mean to people just sprinkle holy water on them and say
"may the power of Christ compel you" well something like that ...
