I am operating XP 2000 professional. I am very concerned that the illegal porn is etched onto my hard drive no matter what I do. If my pc needs repairs how can I be certain the images are gone? Should I replace the hard drive & remove all doubt?

I am concerned that if the images are not removed I run the risk of being arrested which may cause loss of family, home, employment etc all because I foolishly let someone whom I thought was a friend violate my trust and my pc with underage porn. Please help me.

with the search program of the computer find the extensions.
like this.. *.jpg and *.gif or *.bmp mainly using the * is a wild card to find everything with those extensions. those extensions are the more popular for photos.

I know porn is basically bad, but it`s looked up more than any other topic on the internet. Heck, i`ll probably leave here and see some. The problem is you said illegal porn, the only kind of porn i know to be that is child porn. If they did that you better get that crap off your computer.
