I was raised in a jewish home, and to me, judaism makes no more and no less sense than does christianity or any other religious (read cult) belief system.

Whether or not the belief in any given series of myths makes any sense or makes more apparent sense than does any other belief in any other given series of myths is always a personal call.

The whole New testament thing with Jesus seems to make religion too simple to practice. It also has a condition that you must believe one man saved us all.
Judaism follows older traditions. It allows anyone how lives a good life and follows the basic 10 commandments to make it into heaven.

simply because Judaism uses only the Torah as its book of life.
While Christianity (a Sept of Judaism)has not followed Jesus"the CHRISTS" words about their role of keeping His words and deeds pure and whole until the Jewish people accept that He was indeed the promised Messiah. They have let in to many other religions ideas to try and gain converts from them until they have a mishmash of ideas that lead people astray from the main message . That Jesus came to fulfill the O.T. and teach a religion built on love and trust . rather than shame and fear.
Also each Apostle seems to have their own interpretations of what Jesus' teachings meant.

Objectively because it believes in a unified conception of God. It doesn't have to go through all of the intellectual confabulation necessary to rationalize that Jesus was the incarnation. Trinitarian theology is a form of apologetics originally intended to justify who Jesus was to both Jews and Gentiles.

The theological conception of God in Judaism is identical with that of Islam.

Depends on who you are really... that's why there's freedom of religion. You can follow whatever makes more sense to YOU. Who cares if some other religion doesn't make more sense to you... just follow what you like and respect others for what they believe.

Because, it has all the same points of Christianity, with the exception of a GIGANTIC leap of faith. Jesus, and the overall pointlessness and drawn-out process of the crucifixion (really, God, there are easier ways. You are, after all, divine.) is really ridiculous. It makes the whole story harder to swallow than it already was.

How so?

Im catholic an i dont know if my religion is the right religion, but i dont know that it isnt.
Everybody has their beleifs, and if you grew up with a certain religion being preached to you all the time, of course your going to beleive your religion makes more sense. YOu should just live and let live.

its a matter of Consistency.

Judaism doesn't contradict itself.

Maybe your just aware enough to see the contradictions and bizzareness of the combination of things in most of Christianity.

>>"Christianity scares your spirit that is controlled by evil. When your spirit smells truth, it squirms."<<
actually I'm jewish, and when "my soul" is exposed to truth it gets excited and energized.
My soul is only afraid of the EVIL in the lies and deception that some modern people, such as Messianics, portray, attempting to draw people away from God through their lies.

GOD protects me from Evil's like those deceptions, by showing me the Truth.
