because if u do cover it up the fever will rise which could be dangerous for both kids and elders, kids can sometimes get convulsions from high fever + other side effects- we don't cover because it help to reduce fever...thats why we put water on forehead ..it help reduce fever quickly and not head only we should put light clothes as well, while coverin the body contains the temperature.our main goal is to make the circulation of blood cool down and reduce the body temperature

90% of body heat escapes through the head. If you cover the head the heat is retained. The fever means that the body temperture is to high. You want to get rid of as much heat as possible.

Yes. Do not cover the head while running a fever.
If anything, place some cool, moist washcloths over the forehead to try and get the temperature to go down.

A hat keeps the heat in and if someone has a fever getting the temperature down is the important thing to do.

just place a wet cloth on the persons forhead but DO NOT open a window or turn on a fan. But when going outside you must cover the ears and head, ONLY when outside, when it is cold
